I was sent to Cadwalader last year by a new agency I registered with. When I got to Cadwalder, I knew the supervisor from years ago when I was a long term temp at Cadwalader. I took this test for temps and I am relatively sure that I passed it.
Some days later, the agency called me and told me that Cadwalader said that I didn't pass the test.
Now, the vicious bitch approach would be to go to small claims court, sue Cadwalader, and prove that I (an electrical engineer) passed Cadwalader's test for word processors (and get some nice pocket change in the process).
However, I have worked at Cadwalader long enough to know that who ever is there now deciding who is passing and failing tests is not going to be there forever. AND, Cadwalader is a very professional place to work, I never ever had any problem with any attorney at Cadwalder.
So, if you go to Cadwalder and some one claims that you didn't pass their test, just take other temp jobs and wait a few months. Don't burn yourself at Cadwalader just because someone who will soon be unemployed wants to play games.
Also, as I understand it, there is a different procedure for temps who work directly for the attorneys from the procedure for temps working in the Center. I personally always chose working directly for bankers and lawyers over word processing centers.
I think Its a Girl Thang
Cadwalader's WP Center is one of those prehistoric Legal WP Centers that has genetic females working in it. Now, I am all for genetic females making a living, but if genetic females get in my way and cost me money, I treat them just like I treat the dumbass Hustler Boyz.
If these old genetic females only want other old genetic females working with them, then they should put up a sign and stop wasting everyone else's time.
