I worked at Bear years ago. At the time that I as temping at Bear, I had a long term temp assignment at First Boston on second shift through a temp agency, and my own contract to be the WP Center at another bank through my own LLC..., so I really didn't give a shit about Bear Sterns.

Bear, at the time, had this express wp center set-up that was kind a nice in that it allowed me to work from noon to five (so I thought it would be a nice way to make some extra money without having to wake up too early). Working noon to 5 at Bear paid nineteen fucking dollars an hour, First Boston paid $25.00/hr and my contract paid $50.00/hr.

Well, apparently the Bear WP thangs thought that my life depended on working at Bear from noon to five, that and they just didn't have shit else to do in this little idiot fucking center that most of us on the WP Center Circuit didn't give a shit about. (I had actually worked at Bear for years before Bear had a WP Center).

It definitely seemed to me that huge jobs were being sent to me at the express WP office as a joke to see how I would handle it.

There was a tired ass old temp and some former Leham Reject in Bear's Center back then who had a lot of time on their hands. Since I am single and have other income, I really didn't give a shit what happened at Bear, but can you imagine having a family to support and running up against this kind of bullshit?
