Some companies advertise contracts for temporary help in newspapers and get competitive bids. The Federal government and the states advertise their contracts.

Some of the government contracts are too large for small local LLCs to bid on, but some of these contracts are surprisingly simple and perferct for member owned LLCs.

The feedback I hear from NYC temp agencies is that the government takes too long to pay. The national temp agencies and a few local NYC agencies do go after government contracts however.

All contracts should be advertised in my view. Commerce Business Daily has federal contracts and New York State Contract Reporter has state contracts.
