Rumor has it that some old unattractive repulsive people working in Proskauer Rose’s Word Processing Center are will be fired/outsourced to Pitney Bowes at the end of June.

I have not seen any ads from Pitney Bowes in almost a year. So, any of you seeking word processing work might want to apply for work with Pitney Bowes. Be warned you may have to bone up on your Ebonics and maybe not look directly at the butt ugly people you will be working with.

I wonder also if Pitney might know that it will be exiting Merrill? This would explain the "no ads from Pitney for a year (since Pitney would have all of its Merrill rejects to move over to Proskauer).

Since Merrill has maintained a word processing center separate and apart from Pitney's presence @ Merrill, it seems that it would be "painless" for Merrill to "finally get rid of those Operators it really wanted to fire three or four years ago" by simply cancelling its contract with Pitney (or simply not renewing it).
